Smart Tan Convention 2009 (Wrap Up)

The Smart Tan trade show was held this past weekend (October 9th – 12th, 2009) at the Nashville Convention Center in Nashville, TN. The exhibition seemed to be a big hit, with what seemed to be more foot traffic throughout the show and the booths this year compared to last year.

The ability to allow customers to tan in the equipment has not been the case for the last couple of years or has not been fully utilized as it was this year. Many of the booths had beds live and ready to accept tanners for showing off their abilities, the Ultrasun booth was in this mix. With allowing tanners to tan in our newly debuted Dr. Muller’s Sungate and the Ultrasun’s i9 Standup unit both available to try out. Both of the beds were busy both days of the show with customers trying them out and looking at them in general, in which both were received well by the customers.

A large selection of our product lines were shown at the show including Dr. Muller and Ultrasun, along with our new line of Sunfit High Pressure lamps. There was a lot of interest in our Q8 and everyone was intrigued by the Sungate and Infinity’s colorful ever changing illumination base which would depending how it was programmed by the customer display a color from the rainbow at a slow or fast pace or could be paused on a certain color.
