Helionova’s Managing-director Richard Warden first launched UV tanning equipment on the UK market at Salon International in 1977. Richard said, ‘31 years ago the Salon International exhibition was a great success and helped us to pave the way for the tanning industry as we know it today, as hairdressing salons were the pioneers of the sunbed in the UK’.
‘Over the years the indoor tanning market evolved resulting in beauty salons, tanning shops and leisure clubs heading the industry. Salon International was no longer the correct vehicle to promote indoor tanning. But now we are pleased to see that the industry has gone in a full circle and although the beauty salons, tanning shops and leisure clubs are enjoying success with indoor tanning, the hair salons are joining in again as they . . .....

Although marketing is still seen as sales support by some people, marketing activities include much more than that. At our head office in Hengelo, Emma and Leontien are working at marketing for Ultrasun to further establish the Ultrasun brand and to increase the brand awareness and market share in the worldwide tanning market.
This is being done in many different ways, like by creating posters, placing advertisements in magazines and banners on websites, by ordering promotional materials, and by receiving information out of the market. At the moment we are looking into extending these marketing activities for Ultrasun.
So if you have any great ideas related to the marketing activities of Ultrasun International, like international promotions, campaigns, exhibitions, sponsorships, . . .....

From September 18 – 21 2008, the Tanning World Expo was held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Of course, Ultrasun was present during this main event for the North American tanning industry.
On a 150 square metres large stand, we displayed our complete range of tanning machines and welcomed our USA distributors and their customers, who all were astonished by the beautiful Ultrasun Q20 Magnum Power, that was displayed in the new colour Vivid Violet Metallic. Also our other models, like the Q15, Q10, Q5 and i8 were real eye-catchers.
Besides the fact that all Ultrasun machines got their well deserved attention, special interest was shown for the Original Dr. Muller part of our stand. Visitors could get a sneak peak of our new ideas for the . . .....

The 2008 ITA World Expo is nearly a week away and will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN. It seems like since the 2007 Expo this year has flew by very quickly and the time to meet and greet with present and future customers is upon us again.
Show dates are September 18 - 21, 2008 and is an open to spa and salon owners looking for new ways to grow their business, commercial buyers of indoor tanning products and equipment, along with indoor tanning industry professionals.
Come visit our Ultrasun booth (Booth #317) and meet with our staff and distributors. We will be showcasing our 2009 Product Line along with having a show special.
